I’ve listened to many books
This one I loved so far, I really enjoyed learning so much personal on Prince. I have always had my own image of him as a lifelong fan and although I still don’t do well with anyone pointing out his flaws, he’s always been perfect in my eyes, but I feel like after this book I just love him even more. The best Prince book so far
I agree with another review that said out of many of the Prince books this gives the biggest look into him and his world. The stories told by his friends and music family were fun and heartwarming. He was intense, but that intensity drove him and those around him to be beyond the best. Prince wouldn’t be Prince without the intensity and mystical nature. If you are a Prince fan this is a fun read.

The Fresh Prince of Paisley Park
This was a extremely intimate look in to the life of Prince. Insightful; surprising; thought provoking; revealing, etc. The story has a familiar ring to it, in that, we've lost many stars, who were surrounded by people that just sat by and watched them self destruct, and did nothing! Toure's narration is excellent, and helps one draw a picture of who the 'real' Prince was. Thank You Toure.

Prince’s most vulnerable song.
This isn’t part of this books timeline but the song he wrote when he lost his child reveals the true man with his pain revealed for all the world to see. Our most beautiful art comes from humankind’s deepest pain and our most joyful experiences. Hopefully he’s at peace.
