Great points!

I highly recommend. Take what you want from this and leave the rest- I probably won’t be doing coupon clipping as it’s not worth my time when I already purchase the basics and the things I buy are not typically on sale. I’m also watching what I eat so going “meatless” is counterproductive to my ‘getting healthy goal.’ As I focus on proteins. I will be going straight cash and dividing up my funds so everything has a purpose- great idea!

Get your butt in gear!

I've listened to this twice. While I like Dave Ramsey's bully approach to being frugal, Crystal Paine goes into detail with exact direction and a lot of "you can do this!" kindness.

Practical, good advice

I've seen Crystal speak, what a lovely lady. Enjoyed listening to this in her own voice

some good information

The book is narrated by the author who can be a bit of an uptalker... (you know? they often sound like they're asking questions? when they're not?) so it can be a bit distracting at times, especially when she's listing items. Some good practical tips though.

So much helpful information and knowledge shared in this book. A real gem of wealth and abundance it truly is.

Good but outdated

The first part was actually really good, but later on when it comes to couponing and websites she recommends it's severely outdated information.

Couponing like she says isn't possible anymore as most stores have severely upped the restrictions on their coupon policies thanks to extreme couponing ruining it all.

Most of the websites she suggested no longer exists which is a bit of pain as she constantly says to check the sites for more info and doesn't give much detail because she assumes the site will always be there.

Skip to Chapter 5

First few chapters drag on a bit. Get to the nitty gritty money saving ideas starting in Chapter 5. Overall, lots of great and helpful strategies that are fairly simple to implement.

good if new to budgeting

I wanted to like this book, but it's really only good if you are brand new to budgeting.

great book, helpful hints & advice however personally I need the paperback to get the most out of it

Absolutely intolerable

I honestly couldn't finish listening to the first chapter, thanks to the author's irritating and forcibly energetic narration.
