Relationship-no matter what

The book was clear on the message, inspiring stories with real life identifiable examples of what to do & not do. Convicting on some of my parenting methods. The information in this book has opened my heart & mind to know & understand Jesus better & increased my desire to be a better relational parent.

Great book, that focused on many aspects of parenting without being a sermon. I was pleasantly surprised that the book wasn't just surface level biblical principle. Very well organized and written.

The parenting book I’ve always needed!

Well, I can’t spend too long writing a review, so let me simply say this: as a pastor, and as a father, this book has opened up so much grace build space. I am recommending this book to all of my peers, and quite frankly, to the many families that attend our church. not only is this book practical, but it is full of heartfelt wisdom. I can’t recommended enough!!!

Average Title - Way Above Average Wisdom

For more than 15 years I have been learning from the Stanley’s in large and small group settings. This book is the accumulation of decades of real world experience and I am grateful for two things.
1. For the wisdom Andy and Sandra shared with my wife and I in various settings while we were raising our kids.
2. For Andy, Sandra and the team who put all of that wisdom into a book so that future generations will benefit. Hopefully my grandkids and their kids one day!

Really great insight and advice for parenting

Loved it. The first couple of chapters I thought there were a couple of things I wasn't sure if I thought sounded right but it got better and better as it went.

As I mother of 4, I wish I would have had this book 16 years ago. Phenomenal!
