Enjoy the magical world; but plots are thin

I don't like it when I'm able to figure out a plot before it's revealed however I thoroughly enjoy the world this author has created - makes me want to move to Portland

I am awaiting the next book with much anticipation! Great series so far! The characters are endearing and well-developed. Highly recommend it!

Love this series

Gigi Pandian has crested an enticing story with history, intrigue and mist lovable characters I cannot wait to get to the next book. I simply cannot get enough of these characters and the storyline continues to keep my interest so much I just cannot stop.
Julia Motyka has truly brought to life each character in the story. I never lost who was speaking as well as when it went to narrative. And emotions throughout were absolutely clear.
Please keep this series alive and going forward. I cannot wait to get the next book in the series!!!!!

I love the story and the narrator makes the character real! I'm sorry to say that the first book is still the best!

Predictable, but enjoyable.

While this was still a good book, it was not as compelling and interesting as the first book. There was very little in the way of plot disclosure or character development. the underlying story was predictably convoluted with many plot holes that may be closed in her next book. still a good read because the characters themselves are inherently relatable and likable. the narrator produced her usual excellent performance.

Fun series about alchemy.

I enjoy the story & the characters in this series and will complete it. Gratefully, as an Audible member book 3 was free!

Mystery & Performance

Very interesting mystery that was portrayed here. it makes it easy to see why we often make mistakes by painting everything with our own paintbrush and not seeing the facts.

I am in love with this series

there are enough twists to keep you guessing and it's light enough to set it down when you need. the narrator does great with the different voices. I'm glad I found this little gem
