If you’re struggling to stay on top of your to-do list, you probably have a good reason: anxiety, fatigue, depression, ADHD, or lack of support. For therapist KC Davis, the birth of her second child triggered a stress-mess cycle. The more behind she felt, the less motivated she was to start. She didn’t fold a single piece of laundry for seven months. One life-changing realization restored her sanity—and the functionality of her home: You don’t work for your home; your home works for you.

Story
The ADHD brain comes with some unique challenges, and until we recognize what they are, they will keep getting in our way. Starting new things, stopping others, concentrating, studying, getting stuff done, paying the bills, and getting on with life just seems so much harder for you than for others. That’s because it actually is, and it is time we faced up to this. ADHD brains are not wrong, weak, or broken–just different. And because the world is set up for neurotypical people, those with ADHD struggle to fit in with these systems which are not matched to them or their needs at all.

Story
The ancient Toltecs believed that life, as we perceive it, is a dream. We each live in our own personal dream, and these come together to form the dream of the planet, or the world in which we live. Problems arise when our perception of the dream becomes clouded with negativity, drama, and judgment (of ourselves and others), because it's in these moments of suffering that we have forgotten that we are the architects of our own reality and we have the power to change our dream if we choose.

Appreciate the approach
A must have for those with or close to someone with ADHD. Finding good, useful help is difficult and most therapists are ill-equipped to treat ADHD, especially in adults. This audio book helps give a solid foundational understanding of the symptoms as well as the way to begin to tackle one’s ADHD treatment plan

Very informational
So many "ah ha" moments, with that's totally me. I picked up this audio to seek more information on a lifestyle of being distracted and have ADD. This audio book spoke in a friendly tone in which you were in a conversation with the speaker. I listen to this while at work and it kept me interested through out the audio book. Thank you

For beginners
This book I think is for people who are newly diagnosed, but aren’t at all familiar with adhd. This is core information, but things I already knew. I was looking more for in depth help with my known adhd.

Great audio book to understand more about myself
I am an adult that started to listen to this audio book while being in the midst of an ongoing ADHD evaluation. Before reaching the end of the audio book I got my not so surprisingly diagnostic of ADHD. I have shared this audio book with my spouse and hope she will find value from it while understanding more of ADHD and what is difficult for me so that we can work together to find good enough solutions to prosper.

Just do it
This books is mostly a list of items everyone should do. Her “just do it” approach is not at all helpful. “Do your taxes.” “Pay your bills on time.” The book is full of these unhelpful statements.
