Love unexpected

good listening story with not heard before situations being your imaginations to the top of their game.

Loved it

I waited a week to listen to the last half hour because I didn’t want it to be over! The hero is bold but tender, the heroine is smart but has made mistakes. Steamy love scenes. Talented narrator. Fulfilling backstory. BRB going to go read everything by Emma Prince!!

EXCELLENT start

I like these books by Ms Prince. They are romantic, exciting and fun. Wish audible had more of them narrated by the great Tim Campbell. This is a great kickoff to the series. Highly recommend.

Very Enjoyable

Lately, I have been reading a lot of books regarding the king of Scotland, the Scottish Lairds who supported him and the wars they had with England. It is for this reason that I was a little surprised with the unusual assignment given to one of the Lairds. It made the story more intriguing. I like the way Ansel and Isolda had to learn to trust each other to accomplish their mission and their relationship developed from there. There are a number of events that take place along the way and this makes for an exciting listen.

Tim Campbell is very good and I can't wait for the next installment.

First book by this author

I really enjoyed this book. It was well written and the plots kept you going from start to finish. I will be reading more of Ms. Prince. Tim Campbell is always nice to listen too. I don’t necessarily love his ladies voice but his men’s voices well ......nice!
The author built the relationship with H and the h with steamy passion and heartfelt tenderness. Great book.

the narrator he has a great voice and knows how to tell a story.

I like that. even though this is a series it can also stand alone as it's own story.

Narrator was very good. I loved how they slowly feel in love. Love scenes well written as is the story. First time reading one of your books and pleased with the story.
