Another great book!!!

Douglas E. Richards has become one of my favorite “future tech” authors. This is another great plot which will open your eyes to a future of infinite possibilities.

Found it entertaining.

Fast moving struggle between good and many different evils. Richards makes future technology concepts blend with current human technology achievements fairly seamless.

Meh

reader is terrific -- story isn't believable even for someone who loves scifi, fiction and mystery tales.

Hoping for one sequel

Having enjoyed all of Douglas Richard’s books, this one was no exception. They are easy to consume while still being fun and keeping me engaged. I did guess a couple of the plot twists well ahead of time, but others not so easily. I think it has been set up for an excellent sequel and would love to see (hear) one.

Not my favorite

I'm a big fan. I've read all of Richard's books and look forward to the next. This one was a dud though. It was so derivative of his other books, almost formulary. Most of the book was them sitting and talking to each other, very little actually happened in the story.

loved the characters and the plot

longer than I would have liked but did enjoy the sci fi init and the twists and turns.

Too self satisfied for its own good

I really wanted to like this... But if you have read another of the author's books, you've already heard this one. He recycles key elements and archetypes from his other stories to an almost insulting degree if you, like me, have paid for more than one of his novels. Add in the same unrealistic, predictable, and forced seeming immediate romance of the two main characters (which are basically the same personas and backgrounds as his previous characters) intermittent gratuitous violence to distract from the overall lack of storyline, and then finish it off with hours of stiff, unnatural conversations that do little more than pontificate about the author's favorite fringe physics theories, and you've got this book. There is no real progression, no real closure, and honestly no satisfying point to this.

Save your money on this one, but read one of his other books if you haven't because he really does write about some interesting things. This one just feels like an unoriginal money grab.

The narrator does an excellent job.

Mindbending and still fun to read!

Have read several of your books and have loved them all! You remind me of how I felt as a teen watching Star Trek. Thought provoking and hopeful for mankind's future. Thanks

I’m a fan of Douglas E Richards- the story has some interesting ideas - but it’s repetitive and slow towards the end

Great concept, fast beginning - but it slows down and gets really repetitive and corny towards the end …… get it if you’re a fan - it’s a great concept story - but the it gets slow …. And repetitive towards the end

Interesting

Interesting read albeit a slow start. The ending is clear, albeit you are hanging to the last sentence and clarity is provided in the epilogue.
