NARRATION
Aaron Shedlock continues to captivate me with his narration; the change in his inflections and how he personifies each character. He made me want to stay listening each characters thoughts and emotions. Aubrey Vincent narration was perfection for the FMC but also amazing for the other female characters. She will continue to make me only think of this book because is absolutely amazing.

Synopsis:
This book was definitely a building book but it still kept me captivated with the story. It had me second guessing certain characters in multiple occasions. I need the third book like my life depends on it haha the ending for this one was more bearable because it wasn't a cliffhanger.

Love this series

This series is so easy to listen to and so captivating. I can’t wait for book 3! Only thing is I wish the books were longer because I read/listen to them so quickly!

A quick little novella

The duet narration was again, TOP TEIR.

The meat of the story is 200 pages and flies quickly. As someone who doesn’t care for travel books, I felt like this was the perfect length to get the point across and get to the smut. Suuuure I guess he could have groveled more but actions over words, baby and Dacre delivered.

Cannot wait until book 3 releases on audio!

Cliffhangers Suck

It is a fun read but having it end with no resolution feels like a waste of time. It says book 2 of 2. No, it is book 2 of at least 3. Ugh.

Book & Audio Review

My heart ached for Dacre and Verena as their fathers’ manipulations loomed large over them, but the mate revelation? Absolutely perfect. They’re stronger together, and I can’t wait to see how they face what’s coming in book three. Honestly, I’m rooting for them to burn the world down!

Dacre is officially top-tier book boyfriend material! After the events of The Veiled Kingdom, he had some serious groveling to do, and let me tell you—he nailed it. His redemption arc is everything I wanted and more.

Audiobook lovers, Aaron Shedlock and Aubrey Vincent return and absolutely slay this sequel. Their performance is flawless, making the tension, passion, and stakes leap right off the page.

Fates and Mates

This book was so short, now I have wait for the next and I’m gutted. I think the first book and this one should have been put together since that one was shorter than what I typically read. I’m enjoying the series so far regardless.

Narration was CHEF’S KISS. I love Aaron’s portrayal of Dacre.

Nyra’s true identity has been discovered and now she is hunted by not only the King but also Dacre and HIS father. She is on the run, but who will find her first. Who can she trust?

We learn more about Verena’s powers and why she was not able to call on them before meeting Dacre. Dacre also battles with his intense feelings for Verena. The two of them are hot and cold for a bit before the ice breaks and they acknowledge their feelings for one another.

Renee sprinkles in a little bit of jealousy here and there. And boy, do we love it when a MMC feels jealous from time to time.

I, for one, liked seeing a different side to Dacre. He was more on the moody and broody side in the first book.
He goes from following his father’s orders to rebelling against him.

THAT ENDING WAS CRIMINAL.
I NEED BOOK 3 STAT!

Good vibes romantasy

This series is light & fun and great for someone trying to get into reading fantasy/romantasy!

Too short

Loved the audible quality duet read is always a good time. However the story was too short. The forgiveness came too fast and the plot was way too predictable. Was expecting more.

It was amazing!!

Great plot, action packed, slow burn but worth it…liked much better the MMC in this book.
