great book

I loved this audiobook. Last chapter the voice actor changes and I hated it. It was so bad.

The gasp I gusped

The ending made me wanna THROW it across the room and DNF the second book before ever even touching it out of spite. So you know it was good.

All the breathy, heart wrenching, witty, peak entertainment you could ask for balled up into this one folks. I will be back for more. Whether or not I regret that decision remains to be seen.

Really Enjoyed!

Really enjoyed this audio book and story. Wished I could have gotten the second book on Audible but this was a really good way to get started on the duology.

Dark, Beautiful, Well Done

I absolutely devoured Wings So Wicked. It was one of those books/audios that I couldn't put down. The world-building was incredible, and the characters were so well-developed. I found myself completely invested in Huntyr and Wolf's journey. The ending had me feeling a whole range of emotions. It was bittersweet, hopeful, and just plain beautiful. I know I will still be thinking about it days later. If you're a fan of fantasy with a side of romance, this book is a must-read. It gave me reminders from Fourth Wing and Throne of Glass and it will be a book I recommend to everyone I know.

The betryal killed me

Female assassin and a fallen angel! What a pair. I loved the trials and academy vibes. I really enjoyed the banter between the characters. The sexual frustration had me laughing. I also had a mini heart attack there at the end.

The ending!!!

THE CLIFF HANGER! This books is so good! I couldn’t stop listening! Highly highly recommend!! Especially if you like forth wing/serpent and the wings!

the narraration, the story, the plot twist 😭🙌 OH MY GOSH!

it started off good

There were so much potential that this book could have delivered and it was starting to build it up and then it just completely dropped it. This book was a mixture of all popular books ranging from fourth wing and divergent, to all SJM books. The plot was great, it was the way it was written that did me in. Scenes weren't being painted properly and the writing seems so rushed at the end like the author just wanted to finish the book and be done with it. The characters were great. The author really had something. it could have been sooooo good but once the trials happened....Hunter was annoying me, she was supposed to be stronger but how she is written made her extremely weak and reliant on others. Wolf was great.

Narration is really good. The story is a fun listen! The plot is similar to other Romantasy BUT it’s not boring and with your credit!

Eye rolling so hard.

I can’t even tell you how much I was looking forward to this book. Sadly, it didn’t live up to my expectations.

It’s really hard for me to like a book when I don’t like the main characters. The FMC is constantly being built up to be one of the best fighters and overall, just a bad*ss. We didn’t get to see anything but her getting beat up and rescued time after time. The reasoning for it made no sense to me at all. The insta hate to insta love made no sense to me at all. The FMC claims to be independent and has no reason for building friendships of any kind. Only to become entangled with not one, but two men. Then one of the men threatens to unalive the other because he stood by while something bad had happened. Only to turn around (after claiming to be in love with her) and hand her over to her enemies. Eye roll after eye roll. I am not even going to try to read book two after that.

I hope they get their HEA and she finally gets to be the bad*ss that she thinks she is. I just won’t be finding out for myself.

As for the narration, I think that she’s a great narrator but her voice isn’t for me and that’s okay!!
