Cute

I loved the relationship between Joy and Arthur. Joy is so independent without being suffocating with her need to be in charge and how she was able to accomplish with her disability. Though I wondered throughout the story if Arthur would turn into the bad guy. I'm glad he didn't. He had his faults but his intentions were heartfelt. It's was a cute romance.

But when it comes to the curse. I'm hesitant to say it was predictable. It wasn't as earth shattering as I was hoping it would be. Seemed to be a quick ending once Joy and Arthur got back together. Like the whole fix for the problem of the story was that she suddenly figured out it that it had no power over her? And that it only attacked others when she left the estate? I'm left wanting to know more details to give it more umph.
