About this listen

Based on a true story.

When Tameka gets kicked out of her apartment in Atlanta, Georgia, she convinces her best friend, Belinda, to allow her to move in with them until Tameka gets back on her feet. While living free of charge with the family for several months, Tameka maliciously puts voodoo on Belinda's seven-year old daughter, La'Quishia, and runs off with her best friend's husband, Carl. Tameka is also suspected of secretly igniting a house fire that kills La'Quishia's best friends, Kisha and Kimani, and their elderly grandmother.

For five long years, young La'Quishia Brown struggles to deal with the betrayal of her "Auntie Meka", the absence of her father, the tragic death of close friends and loved ones, and relentless bullying and alienation from her classmates at school. Moreover, La'Quishia's mother must find a way to successfully exorcise thousands of evil, destructive spirits from inside her daughter's body before it's too late.

👀 Good MUST Have Evil‼️👁️

I clinged to EVERY word, and Rewind several times to be sure I heard correctly‼️
If Good exist, then there has to be the necessary Evil for it to be relevant.
Without Evil, Good would be the Constant, and therefore, irrelevant‼️ And in this World , and Beyond, there is Real Evil‼️
The Author transparently illustrates in a Beautiful Story, what could happen if that EVIL penetrates Our Lives.
This Story feels Real, and is a MUST Experience, if you Believe in the Forces of GOOD and EVIL‼️

May Good be with you...

A must read

I loved the book from the beginning to the end. It is a hair raising book that will keep you on the edge of your seat intercepting what will happen next. I also loved the narrator she brought a since of personality, humor and her voice made you want to continue listening without stopping. I would recommend this book for anyone who is looking for a good book to read to the family.

Hmmm From Gloom to Glory! Wow!

Well, I loved the story. The Narrator at first had me wondering, why so gloom then I realized that this child went through hell and when telling a story in the first person narrative like this, it wont be chipper or happy. The story had meaningful lessons and the Narrator pulled it off in the end. The bad spirits were no joke but God always win and Karma, oh well! Overall, I enjoyed it.

Boring Narrator.

The book would've been so much better if another Narrator read it smh, she ruined it.
