The Gargoyle Gets His Girl is the third installment of the Nocturne Falls Series by Kristen Painter. It's the fourth book I've listened to, narrated by BJ Harrison, and they only get better!

No matter the character speaking or thinking in the moment, BJ is able to find a new and fresh voice for them. I'm not sure how he does it, but as long as he keeps it up, I'll keep listening.

Needless to say, I love Kristen's story as well. Can't wait for the next installment!

THE STORY IS SO GOOD, SURPRISE, ROMANCE AND EXCITEMENT!! EACH BOOK IN THE SERIES BRINGS SO MUCH MORE TO THE TOWN AND EACH PERSON'S STORY.

Great Series

I love this story and the series. The story is different and interesting. The narrator is wonderful and very easy to listen too.

I listened to book one. the dialog was on point with the story. the second book I fell in love with. Love the story and loved the aunt. I am hooked. listened to this one in one day. the twist was surprising and I loved it.

I love Nocturne Falls!

I love all of Kristen Painter’s books, but I love the Nocturne Falls series the most. They’re fun, lighthearted, and we see many of the same places and people throughout the series, which is fun.
B.J. Harrison is a great narrator.
I like how the jobs of many of the townspeople is being “on duty” as themselves for the tourists. Our hero here is on duty as a fountain gargoyle and hears a wish being made. It brings the hero and heroine together, and sparks fly.
I highly recommend these books!

I absolutely loved this book...along with the rest of the series! A great story & an even better narrator....awesome!

it felt rushed, but I enjoyed it all the same

I have to always remind myself that this is supposed to be a romance book. Because this particular installment has a whole lot of ooey gooey sweet romance. That's not a bad thing; it's just that it felt as if the story rushed when the action and substance was involved. Sometimes it felt like the romance didn't belong in there in the first place. It was still a good story all in all. I'm excited to go ahead and move on to the next installment. But aside from the performance being perfect and the story being well written, I can't say that this is one of the best. If you're already a fan like I am, then you would rate this a five and move on to the next book.

and loved it. I just had to read the whole series after that first book

Another Goodie

The adventure continues! Such a detailed world and wonderful adventures for our new cute couple. A perfectly easy listening experience, and it is definitely best to read each book in order as they keep building on each other. On to the next in the series!
