What if WWII were fought in space?
In 1944, a secret Nazi experiment split the universe in two. In our universe, we won. Hitler died. Freedom prevailed. But in a parallel universe, the Nazis discovered the atom bomb first... and conquered the world. The light of freedom perished, and the Nazi shadow spread across Earth, the solar system, and the stars.
In 2207, a portal opens between our two universes. One universe of freedom. One of tyranny. And through this portal flies the Weltraumwaffe, the space fleet of the Third Reich.
James King was enjoying his retirement. He once commanded the Freedom Fleet, an armada of starships tasked with defending Earth. In his fifty years of service, Admiral King fought many battles. But he never faced anything like this.
He is old. Tired. Battle-worn. But he must don the uniform again. He must lead the Freedom Fleet once more. Or the shadows of our past will swallow us all.
WWII rages again. This time in space. The Freedom Fleet will face off against the Weltraumwaffe. Freedom or tyranny—only one can win.

Chase had it all planned out. Do a little time in one of the emperor's jails, say a four-year stretch, for getting rid of some trash that no one would miss, and when he got out, the path to leadership would be wide open. Unfortunately, his bastard of a father, the same one who left his mother to die in poverty and him to run wild on the streets, took an interest. Seeing him sitting on the bench when his case went to court was a shock. But not as big a shock as being sentenced to ten years in the Imperial Navy.

Oh man you are in for a ride!
What if the nazis found out about the atom bomb first? Well, this story explores that so much more! One of the best sci-fi books I've read in a long long time!

Interesting story
I love how this book involved fighter jets. Not only that but involves someone coming out of retirement to have to be the hero. That really made for an interesting plot. The narration of this book is really good as well and I highly recommend this one!

Suspend your Disbelief and Enjoy
I love these high-concept sci-fi stories and am happy when they pull it off. Daniel Arneson does just that, puts Nazi Luftwaffe in space and makes it believable. I think one way he does this is to move the plot along very fast and have the characters three-dimensional with the everyday feelings and foibles of normal people. We can suspend our disbelief till the end.

Space Freedom...Brilliant!
I don’t usually read sci-fi, but I love stories about freedom, and this book pulled me right in! It makes history feel real while mixing it with epic space battles. The idea of a world where the Nazis won and took over space is fascinating. I enjoyed it - thank you!

Great narrative
I love this kind of thing, where an author plays with history and projects into the future. So imaginative. The world-building is excellent, and it's a fun and intense ride. The narrator is awesome as well.

Great futuristic story
Based on Nazis, this book mixes past events with a futuristic viewpoint of the world. I loved the combination of past and future marked by the portal between universes when Admiral James King must come out of retirement to lead the Freedom Fleet against the Weltraumwaffe, the space fleet of the Third Reich. A lot of battle and action that will keep you entertained.
