The Evernight brothers are determined to have me, and now that I'm all alone, trapped in their castle, it's only a matter of time before one of them claims me.

Grey is gone, sucked in by a hole in the sky, and I'm all alone, surrounded by the Evernights. Surrounded by brides and a whole nation of Enchanted who hated my guts, and blamed me for Grey's banishment.
The brothers are looking for reasons to punish me and force me to become theirs. Sooner or later they'll succeed—if I don't find a way to protect myself first.
You should bed them, all of them, and you'll have more magic power than you could have dreamed of, they tell me.
Grey is gone—why are you loyal to a dead man? they say.

F--k that. I will do whatever it takes to survive these monsters wearing human faces—especially when I find out that not all is lost yet. There's a chance that Grey is still alive, trapped in a dark aisle, unable to come to me, so I have to find a way to him instead.
Secrets surround me. People with hidden agendas try to get to me, and something very big and very bad is about to happen in the Seven Isles. So big that there's a good chance nobody will survive it—so of course Valentine is involved.
Whatever happens, one thing is clear: I will go to the ends of the world to find Grey, even if what I find when I get there will scar me for life.
