I honestly loved it, I feel like it had almost every single trope you can think of! Definitely a good listen! I also loved hearing from everyone’s POV

Isabelle Turner and Anthony Palmini were so good in this. I love the story that Katerina St Clair created. I love the depth of the characters, and the light shone on systemic oppression and “racism”. It was a nice “deep dive “ listen, and I can’t wait to see how this story progresses. 🔥🔥🔥

Most enthralling dystopian series I’ve ever read!

I cannot get enough of this series. Forest, Fallon, and Xavier are such dynamic characters, keeping me on my toes at all times. Highly recommend!

Excellent start to a new series:

Started a bit slow but omg it was so worth it. I am surprised by how much I enjoyed this book. The outcome of the book was in my opinion predictable but nonetheless is was entertaining, impactful and well done. I will keep my eyes open for the continuation.

Refreshing New Dystopian

With the note that the first four books are only prequels of a 10 part series I'm so excited to see where Katerina takes this story. It's impressively layered for a newly published author, and had me more ready to learn what would happen next throughout the whole book. The narrators were very easy to listen to and follow, and there was no choppiness in the reading, I always love podium audios narrators. I just really wish that the fight scenes and physical interactions (spicy and not) between characters were more detailed and lengthy, although easy enough to follow they were a little difficult to visualize and I had to draw up my own conclusions to what the character was physically feeling and going through, there is plenty of thoughts communicated but more emotion and sensory would be amazing to see as this series progresses. Overall the effort and schematics to the plot are wonderfully done and I know I will find myself putting this series up there with "Throne of Glass" for its detail and attention grabbing story.

what an original story

I have listened to a ton of books , such an intriguing story, decent heat, but a lot of world building which is really appreciated and the next book i can tell will be good

Enthralling

Loved this performance, I did try to follow along with the kindle version and it didnt match in quite a few places but it didnt change the story.

Wonderful storyline.

The female narrator did a truly fantastic job. Her ability to switch characters was impressive. The writing is great, but holds some room for improvement. The storyline is a breath of fresh air. I truly loved the world building. I am excited to see where the story goes.

I love this book!
I think it threw me off so much because the audio and the book are stating different phrases or adding/ removing paragraphs. I had to pause to read and listen to the differences.

Don’t sleep on this

A fast paced, detailed dystopian world ruled by an order who has cruel intentions for anyone who opposes them. In an attempt to create the perfect humans, a society controls their citizens every move. For those who do not pass the purity tests, they are dumped into a ghetto of barely livable conditions. Two people destined to be together no matter how many times they are ripped apart, are willing to risk it all and they slowly begin to see how it affects everyone they hold dear. I loved this book so much.
