They're powerful vampires, hungry for new blood, desperate for an heir, each more breathtakingly beautiful than the last—and all of them trying to make me theirs.
I pretend to play along while I search for an escape from their Isle and hope to make it back home in one piece.
Except the Evernight brothers are not easily fooled. Secrets hang in the air, and there's a storm lurking in the distance that nobody seems to know about. This story is fun with an interesting and unique take on the normal fantasy characters we already know (fairies, witch, shifters, vampires, ect). The magic system and story here was new and different and I really liked it.
Narrator was great, I hope she's doing book 2 as well which I've already pre-ordered!
