The Narrorator is awful

the narrorator is annoying, to say the very least the whiny voice of the women makes my ears hurt. the males voices are laughable. she should have just read it straight instead of trying to do voices it may have been more bareable, but imna completionist, so I'll finish. the stories are pretty repetitive.

it does get any better

This was literally one of the best set of books I've listened to in a long long time. It was some of the most pleasant and deliciously delightful writing skills I have witnessed , and the best use of hours of entertainment and enjoyment that I can remember having. I am very appreciative to have experienced this, and highly recommend it to all. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job bringing it to life .

Excellent Book Series

Let me start off by saying that I don't like cliffhangers. I like books that are all tied up by the end. That said, I absolutely didn't mind these ones! It was like one big story with all the characters instead of just focusing on one couple per book. Again, not something that I have ever liked but it was thoroughly enjoyable. I like to put on an audiobook while I craft and these kept my attention 100% of the time. The stories were very entertaining and everything I look for in a steamy historical romance with DD. I was a little disappointed that it ended. All in all, phenomenal writing and great narration.

This is a book full of fantasy and steam and Alpha males …. I am not educated on this genre of love play but, I found it fun and exciting. We all need some pepper to spice up and change up. Thank you GA for being bold and brave in writing these wonderful novels.

Sinfully Addictive

This series is my naughty little retreat. I dim the lights grab a glass of good wine and replay my favorite parts during stolen private moments. These sinful treasures will tickle the dirty side of your imagination. They may even tempt you to try a new thing or two....

Entertaining

Well written and entertaining. The story line is good and the romance is exciting. Would recommend!

Fabulous

This box set is just fabulous! The story line from the beginning pulled me in and I didn't want to stop. All the characters intertwined with each book which I can say I like the fact that the series of books the characters were included in each one and their stories were all concluded in the last book of the set. I fell in love with the characters, they each had their own issues of course but working it out was the intriguing part. I had the kindle edition to read along with the Audible, which I love by the way. I wish the Kindle Unlimited had more of these, without having to pay extra. Disclaimer I did receive the Audible as a ARC (Advanced readers copy for review) This is a set worth reading, I will definitely do so again. (Caution: This book is very explicit, if you have any trigger issues with spankings, domination of any kind and no holds barred language then this may not be for you. ) I will say that I found it quite humorous at times.

Oh yes !!!

First time Golden Angel reader and all I can say is WOW!!! I completed the set in record time. While the focus is discipline, the storyline identifies the flaw in most relationships>>>lack of proper communication. The four horsemen of the apocalypse-what a strong, and appropriate, visual. In the same situation I would have probably fainted and fallen off my horse from the anticipation of what my posterior was going to be put through once I was caught.

The story is told with love, and because of the era, discipline too. Some wives and daughters were not as fortunate (yes, fortunate) as the lovely ladies whose stories are told. I feel the best part of the discipline was having to verbalize the reason and when finished, the penalty for the next episode of disobedience was clearly stated. They were forgiven and cuddled. The level of humiliation varied but I believe that Irene's punishment with Alex as a witness, while understandable due to the circumstances, would have taken me a lot longer to recover from. I especially appreciated that Eleanors' discipline, when administered by her father, or when her father was teaching her older brother 'how to', was not sexualized.

The storyline is graphic and well told, I was right there with all of them, squirming with every spank, knowing I would not have been as strong in the same situation. If discipline, and the use of various implements to administer that discipline, is not your thing, don't bother reading. But, if you're kinky side is looking for a little adventure, do yourself a favor and dive right in. You won't be sorry.
