Loved every minute listening to this book

The way the book is narrated makes you feel like you are part of the book and you were right there in the middle of it.

Underwhelmed...

This book unwhines the plot very, very slowly. It is very slow paced. It is underwhelming.

I read so many negative reviews that I held off for a long time to listen to this book. I’m so sad I did believe them. This book was awesome. When I saw how long it was my thoughts were “how can I stay interested that long?” Let me tell you this was such a sweet love story. I hope there’s a book two in store. I will reread this book over and over. It was so special and gripping. Thanks to Author and thanks to the two perfect narrators. No one else could’ve done it justice. Please give this book s chance and give it better ratings. It deserves it(?)

maxim just lost his brother Kit the the Lord of England. now maxim is the lord and is a strong bachelor. until he meets Alyssa. alyssa is an imigrant who escaped her capturs and is maxim's cleaning lady. when she meeta him shes smitten but unsure of men because of her hometown. can these two be something more? great story.

The wait is over! I was hopeful and wondered what this new book would be like and I must say I loved it. I must read this all over again.

Not what I expected

Although I was happy that she chose to go a different and less murky direction from her previous best sellers this book was altogether cliche and predictable. The story line had a good premise but I knew what was coming from page one. I was never surprised or shocked at anytime. I did not enjoy how much it changed from different points of views. The heroine only seemed to be intelligent when she was thinking and not when she was speaking aloud. I expected more. But given her previous books I am willing to give her next book a try.

I'm so sad that I finished it. I wish it continued to tell the story of their lives together. I am hoping for a sequel.
