Amazing storytelling, hell of a cliffhanger!
I enjoyed everything about this story, from the writing to the performance of the narrator! Any woman who experienced the "purity culture" of the Christian church, among other forms of religious abuse, should read this book. I can't wait for the next installment!

Absolutely captivating!!
This story will grab you from the beginning and it will have a chokehold on your psyche until you’re finished.. and then it will ultimately become a siren’s song that pulls you back in for a second and third read!! It’s mesmerizing and filled with all of the lusty, mystical moments that you’ve been craving! Bravo!

I loved this story! I need book two!!
This was an awesome and engaging book. I can't wait to finish the story. The characters are wonderful and engaging. I love the premise and the retelling of heaven and hell dynamic.

Run & Read!!
This is one of the best books I’ve read in a long time! Coming from a religious trauma background myself, although not as abusive, I related to the main character a bit. I loved the storytelling and the weaving of various mythologies.

Fauna Saves the Book
I wanted to like the book more than I did.
Fauna's explination of the realms and candy binges were the saving grace for the otherwise slow narrative.
The MC's religious and parental trauma weighed the book down. Her fear and self doubt were persistent. Her questions were beyond basic for someone who was supposed to have written several books on mythology already.
I'll still read the second book when it drops but I hope for a faster pace, less repetitive trauma, and more interesting mythology takes to chew on.
