SAMKIEL AND DIANNA RETURN

'A wicked ride from beginning to heart shattering end. Leaving me literally screaming for more. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough to get more our morally corrupt heroine who you can't help but root for, along with the giggle inducing banter between her and the heroic god Samkiel' HANNAH NICOLE MAERHER

WHERE THERE ARE GODS, THERE ARE ALSO MONSTERS . . .

Ask her what she ripped from the very heavens.
And then ask her if she cares.

Betrayed and bloodied, The Hand has failed. After a desperate battle, Nismera, the Goddess of War, now rules the realms as the last remnants of Samkiel's power spill across the sky.

Desperate to keep Samkiel safe after almost losing him, Dianna is willing to give up everything to protect him, even if that means sacrificing their relationship itself. But that's not a risk Samkiel is willing to take, even as the stakes grow ever higher.

The one true king is poised to return, but when the dust settles, who will truly rule?

Don't miss the first two books in this series, THE BOOK OF AZRAEL and THE THRONE OF BROKEN GODS!

'Amber's series breaks the rules in the best way. Her main character is strong, capable, and unapologetically powerful. There is no damsel here. This story is filled with fast-paced action, an in-depth world, and a romance that goes from simmer to boil. If you like romantasy, read this!' RAVEN KENNEDY

'Once in a while I read a series that reminds me of just why I love enemies to lovers, slow burn, and morally grey characters so much. Gods and Monsters is that series. This is perfection. Amber Nicole's Dianna is the FMC of my soul' NISHA J. TULI

The end is worth it.

I found book 2 hard to get through so I wasn’t super confident in the third book, but I already bought it so I was going to read it regardless. And I’m glad I did. The last quarter is amazing, and answers a lot of questions while giving little crumbs of clues to theorize over. Things finally made sense and I was way more invested in the series.

Narrator is crazy good

A little chaotic and alot of plot convenience. Narrator had to voice 2773737484 characters and super impressive how everyone had a different voice.

So frustrated

I love this series. The side characters, the story, Sami, but oh my god this book should’ve been titled Diana makes more dumb decisions (book 3 in the series Diana has zero emotional intelligence or common sense so you everyone suffers). I have never hated a main character so much. Like she makes me not want to keep reading but the other characters keep me in.

excitement!!!

I am eagerly anticipating the upcoming installments of this series. The action, romantic tension, emotional conflict, and animosity were all compelling and engaging. The series was well worth the investment and exceeded my expectations.

Best book yet!

What can I say other than this was the best book yet! I was a little worried because book 2 dragged through a big chunk of the middle, but the Dawn of the Cursed Queen did not disappoint! I loved that we got so many different points of view…it really fleshed out the world and all the major players that are in this story. Although Dianna and Samkiel will always be our two MCs, there are so many others that are far more than side characters. I love that we also have multiple little romances going on with some of the other characters. I found myself rooting for Camilla and Vincent…crazy I know! And the side we got to see of Kaden—- This book is written in a fashion similar to a television series in the sense that it follows a large group of gripping characters and each chapter ends on its own mini cliff hanger. Just truly an amazing series that I recommend to anyone who enjoys their fantasy romance with plenty of plot and action but while being very character driven.

5 Star Performance

Just when you think you can predict where the story is going, the author throws you for a loop. There were so many plot twists, I couldn’t stop listening. The performance was top tier. She gave each character their own distinguishable voice, I was so impressed!

Overall great but has some issues

Repetitive feelings with no resolution. I mean they keep talking about forever and that they can’t live without each other and they literally kill for each other and he still wonders if she loves him or just having fun??

The side quests were too long.

She can’t lie well about little things but the big reveal to Samkiel? He can’t fucking tell.

They keep promising to tell each other yet can’t talk to each other. It’s feeling like a toxic relationship. Passion and possessiveness but no communication. It makes it difficult to figure out what they see in each other, other than the sex.

I really loved Camilla’s story arch. Funny and real.

FMC blames herself for things that are not in her control and blames others for things she can control. It’s frustrating to read, you want her to see the truth. You want her to see what’s in front of her, you want her to see past her trauma.

FMC is just a bundle of trauma triggers.

Best one yet!

Nicole's GODS & MONSTERS series just keeps getting better, and Bowles' narration is fantastic as always! It's a wildly emotional ride that cost me sleep, but was worth the price.
