Nice Trilogy
I enjoy reading the author's books and like how she develops each character. Be advised this story is a bit in the spiritual side as one of the main characters is a pastor. (the last story in the trilogy).

Characters build as story continues
I liked that the characters introduced in the first book carried through in the background as context for books 2 & 3. Each story had twists and turns & some delightfully unexpected endings in a small town outside of Nashville. Well narrated & presented,

I like there was no vulgarity and there was references to God & prayer
the first book took a long time to get into. the last book was the best, tho slow. the middle book, The Legacy, can only be described as boring. As far as mystery books go, these were substandard.

How annoying Julie is
Julie is so annoying it distracts from the story. For being a Christian character she really is a terrible example. She meddles in everyone’s business and cannot keep a promise. Her brother’s character is so much better but again he cannot keep a confidence. I’m having a hard time getting through the books because I cannot stand how annoying and meddlesome Julie is.
