Superb Legal Thriller

Everything about this book is fabulous. An original plot that gets more complex as it goes. Intensive action events. Characters are developed with excellent detail with believable paths to follow. The narrator was also super and he delivered the dialogue with surprised tones when required as well as fearful or passionate tones as indicative of the situation. This is one of the best audiobooks I have listened to in a few years. I hope he writes many more books as I will buy them all.

An upgrade from #1 book

This book was much better than the first one. Had I not downloaded/purchased them both at the same time I never would have listened to #2. Although still not great it was much better than the previous book.

Not a lawyer story

The protagonist is a lawyer but there’s no courtroom story.
Great story & very well written & narrated.
A truly touching story with unpredictability, suspense, family & so much more.

I highly recommend listening to this book.

Very realistic and well written. I don’t like books where you have to suspend reality, and I did not have to do so. Great thriller!

Great Story! It Rings True.

I enjoyed the story, the suspense, the action and the love story. It had an edgy New York feel to it.

There are few books that can hold the reader like this one did for me. Very few drags and a suspenseful listening experience that I enjoyed. I did not anticipate any of the twists and turns so it was all in all enjoyable and I would read another of this author’s novels!

this book has the perfect balance of suspense and charm. I am disappointed that there does not seem to be more in the series coming out. I would be thrilled to read more by this author.

Excellent suspense thriller!

I'm happy I did not stop with the first novel of this series. The Criminal Lawyer is lot a legal thriller at all although the protagonist did practice criminal law in the past. The first book in this two novel series was set in 1979 while The Criminal Lawyer is set in 2010. This novel is an exciting and action packed suspense thriller wrapped around a story of love and family. It is a fun and satisfying listen. Narration is superb.
