Somewhere on the frontier between thought and reality exists the Discworld, a parallel time and place that might sound and smell very much like our own, but that looks completely different. But just because the Disc is different doesn't mean that some things don't stay the same. Its very existence is about to be threatened by a strange new blight: the arrival of the first tourist, upon whose survival rests the peace and prosperity of the land. But if the person charged with maintaining that survival in the face of robbers, mercenaries, and, well, Death, is a spectacularly inept wizard, a little logic might turn out to be a very good idea.

There is absolutely nothing that I disliked!
It’s fantastic and I gonna keep going down to the last book.

Good book badly narrated

This is not Sir Terry’s best book, but it is fun and essential for any fan. This narration, however, is not. Words are pronounced wrong, characters sound off, and the narrator lacks intonation. Do not waste your credits.

Wildly imaginative

Nice read, although a wild imagination can sometimes be viewed as a bit random in the story-telling. The story jumps around a bit where each story I hoped could be told with a bit more detail, especially in the fight scenes.

really, really good book !

people looked at Me as if I was absolutely mad,while I was giggling at the descriptions of the characters.

Horribly abridged

Unfortunately no unabridged version of this book is available here.
The abridged version destroys the immersion for me completely.
Characters are thrown from once place to another, people are introduced and then discarded without further context.
Not recommended.

Hillarious and strange fun

l loved it! but then I am a collosal Terry Pratchett fan. It was excellently performed and I shall look for the next book in the series hopefully with the same narrator. I highly recommend this for anyone with a sense and enjoyment for the peculiar and a rampant imagination

Loved it, the book, the narrator all of it. If you like hitchhikers guide you'll like these too. Can't wait to start the next one
