What a gem
Holy cow, this is amazing. I read Stolen Tongues after reading the NoSleep story, and decided to give this a shot after that. This story is worth every penny. What an amazing continuation of that whole universe!

Phenomenal follow up to Stolen Tongues
A fantastic follow up and prequel to Stolen Tongues. I love the way Blackwell writes. You can tell the enormous amount of heart and research that went into this book.

unexpected
when I first heard stolen tongues I was 17 years old and woke up to mistercreepypastas narration of the nosleep version from before it was novelized and fell in love with the atmosphere of being stuck in a cabin with an eerie creature on the otherside of the door. I didn't like stolen tongues narrator on audible and felt it made the book corny. this book and narrator really show how much more human the characters that Felix creates have become. I highly reccomend to anyone who wants a good spooky thriller that you can listen or read to while it's snowy and cold outside

A Great Prequel
I’m so glad to say I enjoyed this as much as Stolen Tongues (which had me huddled under blankets at times). Felix is a great storyteller. Makes me want to go visit those mountains.
