A good story!

I enjoyed this audio book! In the story, the struggles, perspectives and actions of the main characters are presented clearly and believably. I felt these were people I knew. A thorough understanding of human nature is revealed by the author. Plot was interesting. Loved the humour throughout. The unusual solution to the case made me smile. The narrator was excellent. Hard to imagine a more ideal voice for the three lead females. I knew without effort which character was speaking. This was my favourite story in this series.

Again with minimal mystery.

Would you try another book from Lori Copeland and/or Cristine McMurdoWallis?

Not right now. I'm sick to death of hearing the reader swallowing.

Any additional comments?

Okay story, good ending. Whoever edits these needs some work and placement of the microphone needs to be farther from the reader since you can hear every since smack and swallow.

Enjoyable Christian Fiction

I read some reviews that stated they were surprised by the religious content. so I included that in my review title. This us a Christian themed book. The characters are grappling with their own sanctification ( spiritual growth/ growing in Christ likeness). Their struggles with tongue & the attitudes promoting bad behavior are very relatable. Personally, I enjoy the fact that all 3 of these women are widows, figuring life out as a single person after years or decades of marriage. I identify with many of their struggles because I have been widowed twice. I like the transparency of the characters. The lessons they learn. And there is some chuckle worthy humor & irony sprinkled liberally throughout. It is an easy listening read, perfect for a stay at home day. I would recommend this book particularly for women of any age, but men might give it a try too. There are some male characters, but really none if the main characters are men.

Too much praying.

Suspicions abound of any character slightly off mainstream. Characters pretty one dimensional and woman described only in relationship to men. Didn’t expect the fallback to religion.
