About this listen

There's no two ways about Les Norton - the carrot-topped country boy who works as a bouncer at Sydney's top illegal casino. He's tough and he's mean. He's got a granite jaw, fists like hams, and they say the last time he took a tenner from his wallet Henry Lawson blinked at the light. Lethal but loyal, he's always good for a laugh. In this, the third collection of Les Norton adventures, Les gets his boss off the hook. But not without the help of the boy from Binjiwunyawunya. Les then finds himself in a spot of bother in Long Bay Gaol then in a lot more bother on a St. Kilda tram in Melbourne.

Les Norton goes to Melbourne

À bit slow at first but turns out to be à funfilled actionpacked trip to Melbourne. Does not really revolve too much around The Boys.
If you enjoyed other Les Norton adventures, I Am sure you Will like this one too! Sad that The author has passed, I have read most of his books
And would Love to have had The chance to read many more

Great, captures the true essence of AUSTRALIA <br />

Love this author and narrator. Just a romping good story. It is very funny in an unique Australian way. I am not sure that non Australians will understand the book

Enjoyable

What did you like best about this story?

I like the laid back writing style. The stories travel at their own pace.

What does Dino Marnika bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Good ozy accent and a style that is not rushed but still very interesting.

Who was the most memorable character of The Boys from Binjiwunyawunya and why?

Les being the main character still stand out.

Any additional comments?

If you are after a fast moving adventure you may be disappointed BUT with the way that it is written I was not bored at all and really enjoyed the style of writing.
