Simply wonderful!!!
The narrator a master!!!
I was captivated from the start.
The atmosphere was so perfect that I felt as if I was watching a movie vs listening to a book.
I heard, smelled, felt same things the characters were and it was terrific!
Can’t wait for a third book to come out , same narrator please!!

Great Read
This second book is just as good as the first. But like the first, some clues are left unexplained and might allow for a different conclusion. But it does hold your attention and I’m beginning third book today.

Cozy if murder actually can be
Well-mannered without pretense
If these are your cup of tea, I have no doubt you will enjoy this book and series.
Dewhurst-Phillips shines in handling the narration. He brings the story to life with accent and intonation; with differentiation in characters and emotions.

Always a treat
Karen manages to always provide an interesting barrage of characters and an unraveling adventure of a mystery. I thoroughly enjoy the quirky nature and English Gentile of The main character Major Lenox- his style makes the book entertaining along with the other character relationships. Excited to to start book 3!
