Wow!

This is an absolutely amazing read or listen! Like I saw in a previous review, if you haven’t read the Bible, or never heard any of the stories in children’s church, this not for you. If you have read the Bible or know most of the stories, this is excellent. I LOVE the humor and the general breakdown of the books is so good. I give this narrator a 10/10. He has a great, crisp voice and the way he jokes, but not in a malicious way, made laugh a lot. I 100% recommend this book, whether it’s paperback or an audiobook. Get. This. Now.

That was different

That was fun! If you are looking to learn the bible scripture and verse than this really isn't the book for you. If you are looking for the back story and and how a person should read and interpret the books than this is a great add on. If you are a new believer go read a bible. But if you know the bible this book will help make all the stories make since. And of course a little humor to break up the monotonous

Great voice to listen to and clear.

Glad this is where I started. Great to read as a intro to the Bible. Enjoyed the pacing and voice.

Not for dummies, this book was great it take three essence on the stores of the bible and condenses the to understandable shorter exerts. Enjoy. 🙏🏽

Excellent Overview of the Old and New Testaments

Well read by the narrator, this is a very good breakdown on the old and new testaments. The author covers the subject thoroughly while injecting a bit of humor so as to keep the book interesting, and engaging.
It also touches on the influence that the Bible has on our society to this day. At the end, there is a brief mention of the relationship between the three Abrahamic religions ; Judaism, Christianity and Islam. I think the author could’ve spent a bit more time on that.
Well worth the listen! Especially if you’re interested in studying the Bible but aren’t sure where or how to start.

Facts & Explications

Liked the whole book. Facts & some humour. I think one needs the actual book while listening as it makes referencing to sidebars & notes found in the book. I look forward to listening to this book again w/my paper copy.
