About this listen
After being reforged, Lord-Relictor Ramus of the Hallowed Knights is sent by Sigmar to capture the betrayer, Mannfred von Carstein.
The quest brings Ramus to the Carthic Oldwoods of Ghur, where he comes to the aid of the Astral Templars against a massive ogor horde. Victorious, but at great cost, Ramus discovers Mannfred is finally close at hand. Only with the help of the Astral Templars will the Lord-Relictor catch his quarry, but there are deadlier things in the woods than ogors, a fact the Stormcast Eternals soon discover.

Story
Three great heroes - Hamilcar Bear-eater, Neferata and Prince Maesa - each face very personal trials that could see them fall into darkness in these three tales that beautifully evoke bitter melancholy - as well as provide audio action. The gods are at war. As the Mortal Realms plunge into darkness and despair, there are an ambitious few who seek to turn these fortunes in their favour. Within the nightmarish, labyrinthine halls of Shadespire, a famed Lord-Castellant must escape the Mirrored City to cement his legend forever.

Within this book you will find Hammerhal, a fantastic new novella from Josh Reynolds: Dark forces stir within the bowers of the mysterious Hexwood. A great warhost of Tzaangor beastkin, creatures devoted to Tzeentch, the Architect of Fate, defile the once verdant lands of Ghyran. All that opposes them are the noble Stormcast Eternals of the Hallowed Knights. Reforged in resplendent sigmarite and wielding the lightning of Azyr, few can stand against these heroes. Also within this book is a host of awesome short stories giving you a flavour of the many warring armies that exist within the worlds of Warhammer Age of Sigmar.

It is said that all who live belong ultimately to the Undying King. In the shadowy lands of Shyish, Nagash, God of Death, calls forth his soulless legions to reassert his dominion. His dread advance begins with the free city of Glymmsforge, bastion of Azyr in the Realm of Death. Standing between Nagash and his prize are the brooding Anvils of the Heldenhammer, an ancient host of Stormcast Eternals, and Lord-Castellant Pharus Thaum, guardian of the Ten Thousand Tombs. As battles between the living and the dead rage throughout the Mortal Realms, the War of Heaven and Death begins anew.

Story
Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

Story
In the not-too-distant future, a 21-member crew launches from Earth. Their mission: to establish a temporary colony on Mars. Little do they know that colony will become permanent–and the last stand of the human race. Because, without warning, every single person left on Earth simply...vanishes. Now, a thousand years later, the resources needed to sustain life are running out, and the very existence of the Mars colony is threatened. Humankind has only one option–to return to its home planet.

Stormcast to the extreme
If you listened to the Hunt for Nagash series, then the Kinights of vengeance is for you. This picks up where the Hunt For Nagash leaves, as Ramass is reforged and task with bringing Mannfred Von Cerstien back to Sigmar himself.

Not worth a credit
While I enjoyed the story and performance, this book is only an hour long. Far from worth a credit. This is part of a bigger story that for whatever reason was split into multiple short stories instead of one whole book. Use your credit for "Saga of the Mortal Realms" instead. It has all of the stories from this storyline plus others. Just keep in mind that this story & Big Red are swapped and aren't in order in that collection.

This series is rubbish
As a new player to the game, I really want to like these books. I play Ironjawz in AoS and I wanted to listen to something other than Stormcast, however this series is the same as most others, Stormcast are amazing and everyone else should bow down. The story is empty of motivation and sounds like it was written by a 15 yr old British boy who dreams of the Imperial Age. The writing is full of hierarchy and dull plots. There is little character development, but the story spends a lot of time describing battle scenes. If you just want to listen to Stormcast beat up other races and the snarky things they say to each other, then read this book.

I don't care about the Stormcast
The performance had some good points with all the extra sounds but the actual story was worthless to me. I'll be requesting a refund.

cheesier than a Stuffed Crust Pizza coated in Cheetos in a Lethal Weapon movie.
Let me start by saying, I love Warhammer, especially Age of Sigmar. I've been painting the minis since 2004.These audio dramas are sadly 90% action narrative and maybe 10% real substance. It's almost entirely "then he reeled back and smashed this guy....then he reeled back and smashed that guy....everyone was fighting and it was really REALLY intense." It's like having two children play with action figures while an eloquent British voice. describes what they're doing to you. I listened to the entire series desperately hoping for it to get better...it didn't. It was well acted I will give them that. But seriously, just watch an 80s action film....You'll get the same level of mindless action and battle, but you will actually get to see it.
