About this listen

The whole world is falling apart. Bashorg, the demon, and the Beast, a dragon, are summoning all their power to rage against the Abyss, the prison their divine essences have been trapped in. Leg Ondo and his team must pull off the impossible once again.

But how are they going to save the planet with Beatrice Shiv, a beautiful young girl, causing problems for Liara Slick, Leg's betrothed? How are they going to save the world if they can't even get along? The time has come for Leg Ondo to remember his true past as a valg.

The mage's story, having begun in a world far away, has come home to roost here on his new planet.

Adequate but rushed conclusion

This wrapped up most of the plot lines but really rushed things to get there. A lot of stuff happened between chapter breaks and then rather than reading about it we read about the aftermath. Could have been twice as long with a lot better pacing.

Read it in two sittings

The book was good. Left room for a new series spinoff but it tied up all details adequately. Nice job!!

Turns to harem in book 5

Was honestly enjoying this series until the romance twist - which isn't necessary in the first place - turned to a random 2nd wife. interesting plot, interesting characters. Wouldn't have picked up the series if I knew this was coming. Won't be continuing. Why ruin a decent book/series for absolutely no reason?

Turned into a harem novel

I feel deceived by the author, who waited until book 5 to provide our MC with two wives and group sex. Spoils an otherwise great series.
