YES! It's like listening to a best friend share her stories.

I love how funny and real it is.

Which scene was your favorite?

When he walks out of their townhouse with a grocery sack holding a toothbrush and clean underwear. lol

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The very end. I won't spoil it. But she is very profound there.

Any additional comments?

This book is like my hubby's get out of jail free card. Anytime I'm annoyed with or mad at him (which is a lot, this is marriage after all) I listen to this book. It makes me feel all better knowing I'm not alone.

Great listen for married couples!

My husband and I LOVED this book! We enjoyed it so much! We listened together on our cross country road trip! Made the time pass quickly! We looked forward to hitting play again after our brief stops.
We laughed, we teared up together, and we related!! Thank you Melanie!!!

Loved this book!!

I love Melanie's storytelling style. I could relate to so much in this book. My husband is very similar to hers. I laughed out loud a lot. She makes the everyday things hysterical.

Newlywed

As newlyweds, we loved listening to this while roadtripping across the northwest for our honeymoon, complete with "Just Married" on the vehicle's back windows with window markers. Thank you for the realness and laughter!

Funny and relatable!

I enjoyed this book so much. I had first listened to her new book On the Bright side and loved it so much that now I am seeking out her prior books!!

funny!

quirky but full of wisdom. good for newly weds and someone like me, married 7 yrs, two kids, and full time job. through the book i see her insight how old love looks versus that new love we all idolize. turns out i have no idea how much my husband is still in love with me. he's exactly like Perry!

Melanie does an awesome job of humorously bringing out the major touch points of a successful marriage and life.

I had the pleasure of attending a women’s event at church where I had the pleasure of listening to Melanie speak!This book is about every day life in marriage and the way God is center in your life. I enjoyed that religion is not the main focus and Melanie talks about the good the not so good and the way two ppl who love each other can make it through even if the you think the grass is greener on the other side. It’s not! Very great narrator and she keeps you engaged. Cannot wait to hear the rest.
