About this listen

Matt:

When my employee propositions me, I’m taken aback. Yeah, she's gorgeous, exotic, and adventuresome, but besides the issue of me being her boss, she proposes something casual. Which is reason enough to give me pause, because I’m not a casual kind of guy. But long story short, we get together, it’s great, and I’m crazy about her, which means I have a big problem. Seven of them, actually—that’s how many brothers she has. And I don’t know about you, but to me, that sounds like the recipe for an @$$ whooping.

Seven super overprotective brothers means they aren’t going to hesitate to beat me into a whimpering bag of meat for touching their little sister. Yippee. Is that enough to deter me from falling for her? Evidently not, and I guess it’s because Inara is an alien, and there are a couple of pretty big galaxies separating me from her bad@$$ family, so I’m safe. Or so I pretend. Because it isn’t the threat of her brothers that worries me. It’s these damn inconvenient feelings that stubbornly refuse to quit growing. I care about Inara. A lot. And that’s a problem, because as far as she’s concerned, she still thinks she’s just having a simple fling. Me? Here’s the whole truth: I freaking love her. And she’s going to break my heart when she goes back home without me...unless I convince her to take me with her.

The Alien’s Little Sister is a laugh-out-loud 67K rom-com with a little sci-fi twist.

Really cute

I thought this was a really cute story, though it's not my favorite in the series. Of course, as much as I love the other books, it still leaves this one in the "glad I purchased" category. Cracknell does an excellent job, and I am impressed he can do male and female voices so very well.
I liked the side characters, and I laughed several times throughout the story. I would have preferred less sex. Milo does wit and banter so well, I would have preferred more of that.

Another lovable and funny win with Little Sister

This book is hysterically funny. I've read and re-read it and it's always entertaining. I like how you get a glimpse of out favorite alien/human parings from previous books. It's a nice twist to learn the difference between the male and female Raki. I love that the male human is everything she's trying to get away from personality-wise, and he gets confronted with his own over-protectiveness too. Some laugh out loud moments as always with an Amanda Milo book and general light-heart(s)ed fun.

Good story

I’m glad we got a follow up on Inara. The narrators performance was as always really good. I hope we get more books in this series.

ok-ish

first i want to point out i have red hundreds of alien romance books. so the book is okish but not letting a huge impact on me.... is nice genuine and totally full of a lot of useless dialogue. at a certain point i was so bored that i wanted to quit but im not a quitter so i heroically resisted up to the end....
