Wonderful depiction of times gone by

I loved hearing this story, it brings back a lot of memories of times gone by. It also leaves lots of room to pickup with more stories. The author did a wonderful job putting this story together keep up the good work and write us more stories. Lol. The author was also very good and brought out the different characters in the story. If you write more stories of this genre be sure to use her for your narrator. Five stars

Very short read/listen

I was given a copy of this audio book for an honest review. I enjoyed the story but felt like I was left hanging in the end. I love the 80s & loved hearing the slang we used often back then. I’m hoping the author plans another book continuing the story of Aubrey & Jacob as well as Jennifer & Jordan.

good story, but the wrong narrator.

The book was pretty good, lots of 80's vibes. I wish there was a bit more completion at the end but is good starting point for a series.
Sadly the narrator was not a good fit for this book. I found that it didn't sound like girls in their early 20's. It was just so far off it became a distraction.

Quick listen, entertaining.

This story was super fast or the narrator just read really fast. I know it was a novella, but I wish there was more, it ended kind of abruptly. Sounded like such a fun time to be in your 20's!

Good but short listen

Author made a nice fast novel with quite a bit packed into it.

Narrator did a good job reading and voicing the characters.

80s ladies

This is quite an interesting story. I like to hear about the friendship and family and really want to find out more about Jacob and what happens with Rich. and of course what happens to the sisters.

what???

what??? the good thing about this book is that it's short.
I was a kid in the 80s and thought it will be a fun reminder of my childhood, but I did not understand the purpose of this book unless it's some kind of a prequel to something else.
the narrator did an okay job - I liked her voice, but the too many "effects" were not to my taste.

A little 80's flashback

enjoyed the ride down history lane. This is a well narrated story of the 80's mixed with history. The 80's was a good period in history, you had President Reagon, Cabbage Patch Dolls, you could smoke in buildings, even in the Senior lounges in High School, you had 8 track players, cassette recorders, walk mans and quieter times. The storyline is basically about Aubrey trying to navigate her life and plan her future. The characters are interesting and just fun. This novella was just too short, I was enjoying it. The narration is good and maintains your interest. I recommend this book.

Time Capsule

It was like a time capsule filled with all the 80’s references tipped over and fell out, arranged into a cute little story. Not exactly my experience but close enough to reminisce with.
