Instant #1 New York Times Bestseller!

“Tough-but-tender cop Lindsay Boxer” (People) leads the Women’s Murder Club in the high-profile murder investigation of a billionaire San Francisco couple. As enemies lurk in the shadows, will Cindy, Claire, Yuki, and Lindsay still be standing when the clock strikes midnight?

SFPD Sergeant Lindsay Boxer, Medical Examiner Claire Washburn, Assistant District Attorney Yuki Castellano, and crime writer Cindy Thomas gather at one of San Francisco’s finest restaurants to celebrate exciting news: Cindy is getting married.

Before they can raise their glasses, there’s a disturbance in the restaurant. A woman has been assaulted.

Claire examines the victim. Lindsay makes an arrest. Yuki takes the case. Cindy covers it.

The legal strategy is complicated by gaps in the plaintiff’s memory—and the shocking reason behind her ever-changing testimony.

As Yuki leads the prosecution, Lindsay chases down a high-society killer whose target practice may leave the Women’s Murder Club short a bridesmaid … or two.

This series is getting old.

I’ve always love the women’s murder club books but they are losing their excitement and suspense. Same old same old. The last few have been meh.

Disappointing

This was bit as exciting or thrill packed as previous stories in this series. I was pretty disappointed.

Happy suspense

I love the fact that each plot no matter how many twist and turn it has keeps me in suspense till almost the very end of the book. I also like the fact that there has always been a little ray of sunshine with a happy ending at the end of each book. I look forward to reading More books in this series.

The Ladies Murder Club does it again.

Lindsey, Clair, Yuki & Cindy are at a restaurant to celebrate Claire’s birthday when a call for help leads them into one of their most difficult cases to date. 6 months later at the trial Yuki must prove that rape and aggravated assault occurred when the victim is handicapped by a mental illness. In the meantime Lindsey is trying to solve the murders of a married couple 6 months apart. The ongoing investigation and trial lead to an interesting and entertaining story. This book 📕 is rated 4 ⭐️s. This is the 24th book of this series and I still thoroughly enjoy reading them. The stories differ and includes all members of the club. I recommend this to those who enjoy a cozy mystery/thriller. I know I look forward to book twenty five!

Just okay

Typical of many long-running series, 24 lacks the fast-paced story and clever twists. It’s a beach or airplane listen, at best.

No suspense.

I was so excited for this book. But the story lines were all cut short. It was not suspenseful at all this time.

Character development is great 👍🏽

I love that the book has the same narrator and the characters continuing to develop and deepen. I disliked the simplicity of the two additional stories that were going on at the same time as the main story. I wanted to see those stories get more complicated. Also I was able to figure out the killer too easily. I Love how Mr. Pattersons mind works and traps me in the stories but this one released my mind too soon. I do look forward to book 25 either way, I’m a loyal fan!!!

Plot was superb. Wouldn’t change anything about this book. The whole series is a suspense and thriller masterpiece.
