good

I just couldn't get over a woman narrating a man's part. but good story.

So good I had to buy the whole series

This is a must read/listen!! The entire story was great and will leave you wanting more.

Not for me

This book is just ok. I’m not into 2,3,4 part series unless each book is a standalone which this is not. The story itself is just so-so in my opinion. But mostly, the thing that brought this down to 2 stars was the performance of the narrator. She sounds like she’s always smiling when she speaks- even during the very serious scenes. Just not interested enough to purchase the next audiobook. Sorry.

Just not good

I'm sorry for the narrator. It sounds like a machine reading. with pauses in the wrong places and no emotion. The story line was just boring. The sex scenes are so random. Who masturbates the first night in a stranger's house with nothing to get it started but just because.?.

The narrator made hard to lessen to.

The sorry is pretty good. The voice of the narrator however is not someone I enjoy listening to. I recommend reading it yourself or to preview the audio samples before you buy to ensure you can sit through the entire book with the reader. Her attempt at a male voice was making me cringe

Could have been better

I guess in a way I expected more, I had googled the best spicy books, and this was the top one…. I liked it but disappointed.

I loved this book and cant wait to listen to the next!! it's very addicting!!

Wish it was Duet style narration.

There were sections where Britney absolutely knocked the narration out of the park. But there were also just as many sections where I wanted it to just move on because she didn't have a lot of inflection going on. But I would still listen to more books narrated by her, I still enjoyed it.

1st person POV
The POV is all from Olive's point of view.

Pros of the Story 👍
- I like the dynamic that the author uses for Olive and her best friends friendship. It's very relatable. And it really makes you feel like you can feel the chemistry between them.

Cons of the Story 👎
- for me, this was a con: is very short. I prefer longer novels but then again there are people out there who prefer the shorter ones so it's not a con for everybody.

In summary 📝

7/10 would recommend to my fellow readers who like series. Because this is definitely the first of many books.

So, once I finish this series, I probably won't ever visit it again. But I digress, it is just the first book it might pick up and I might feel differently. So, I will keep you posted :-) in future ratings.

Pointless

The story has a few twists but very little depth. When it finally reaches what you expect is the main plot the book ends abruptly. I feel like the author was trying to stretch this out into several books but should have combined books one and two. There is no point to book one other than to establish that the main character has crappy relationships and terrible life skills.
