I absolutely loved this book. Definitely was not expecting the troll whip IYKYK. I love how it takes her realizing that she is part of the town and his loved for her power

Trolling for A Good Time

This series by Hazel Mack/ Anna Fury is so much fun. Triplet sisters end up in a crazy town and find their forever mates , but the town has a few secrets, houses with feelings and unusual inhabitants !! Well written easy fast read read with some out of the box spicy scenes and a lot of attitude. The narration is duet and well performed. Fun read or listen !

I'm hooked!

I'm falling in love with this series! It's hilarious and and fun. I'm only half way thru and I'm definitely Troll whipped. I need more!

The heroine: Wren - she is a tall and curvy girl and recently found out she is a green witch (a witch that is good with the natural world, specifically growing things). She is one of three sisters (triplets) who were drawn to the town of Ever. When they arrived, they found out that monsters exist, and the town is one of many Havens where monsters can live and be themselves.

The Hero: Ohken - He is a Troll who lives in Ever. He owns a general store in town as well as a flower shop. He is also on the town council and does some work for a few other people around town. He is eight feet tall, muscular, and dominant. He has wanted Wren since she first came to town.

The Story: Wren has had a crush on Ohken since they first met. The two of them have flirted with each other from the start, but in this story, he finally asks her out and they are inseparable after that. There are some issues though, stemming from the fact that he is a troll and so much larger than her. Wren is curvy and nearly six feet tall herself, but Ohken is about two feet taller than her and muscular to boot and all of him is much larger than a human male. Some magic is needed to make the two of them sexually compatible. Luckily Trolls have the knowledge to brew a certain magical potion that does the trick after they each drink it for a few days.

I am not a fan of the BBW type of book, especially in such steamy stories. Wren is a self-confessed fat person; she is proud of her body and even wears t-shirts that shout it to the world. My problem in this book was that I pictured a fat woman and a tall muscular green man getting it on and I didn’t like those pictures in my head. Maybe that makes me a bad person, but we don’t have chubby Heroes, so why do we need to have chubby heroines? It didn’t help that her curves were mentioned often in this book, and they didn’t always use the word curvy, they flat out said fat more than a few times. Other than that, I did like the story quite a bit and I really like this world of monsters.

This audiobook was in dual points of view via dual narration and was narrated by Mason Lloyd and Mia Barron. I really enjoyed the narration and like both of these narrators. Mason Lloyd has a deep, clear voice and Mia Barron has a soft, feminine voice that is very pleasant as well. This book was steamier than the previous book, which I expected when Ohken was portrayed as such a dominant male.

troll x witchy small town romance!

oh i am just swooning over this town and this world created by hazel mack!!! these books are full of cozy and utterly spicy love stories. ohken is the monster of my dreams and the way he is wrenns biggest cheerleader had me teary eyed. i about combusted over the whipped cream microtrope & the mouth on this troll!!! these books have me addicted. learning more about haven & its monstrous residents had me hooked. the overarching plot line continues to build and and thicken throughout this storyline and i adore getting to meet more and dig into the other residents in town.

mia barron and mason llyod continued to give a great performance in book two! same narrators for different characters sometimes throws me off but these two kept all the characters unique voices separate!

Great story. Very unusual romance

Very well written story with a good backstory about romance with humans and monsters. Can’t wait to read the next book in the series!

Wren and Ohken

Narration: Same narrators as book one. Dual narration. Did a good job of changing voices enough from book one to make unique for these characters

Story: This is book two in the Haven Ever After series and must be read in order. This story focuses on Wren and her mate Ohken. I appreciated how Wren had to work a little harder for control of her magic. It didn’t just happen like it did for Thea. She definitely eventually gets her bad ass witch moment though which was great. The series plot progresses well and leaves you wanting more at the end. Wren and Ohken’s have great chemistry and the spice is off the charts. If you enjoy size difference and ruts this one is for you. I cannot wait to get into book 3!

One of my favorite series!

I absolutely love this series! Wren is my favorite sister. I love that she has such a great body positive image of herself. No "poor me" attitude for this sister, who is one of triplets. I love the world Mack has created in this series. It's fun. It's sexy. It's entertaining. There is a strong storyline. Definitely read in order. The narrators did a great job!
