Holy Gabe

Oh my goodness. The story…the spice… love!! Can’t wait to listen to the next book in the series.

Dug this more than I thought I would...

For my 1st KA Tucker read, this was pretty good. Why is this the first one I have listened to you ask? Well I like dual narration, and this is the first ones I seen of hers that are in the Audible library for free..I am cheap :)

However, story wise? I really liked it. I do think Mercy does protest too much, so that could have been turned down a smidge and still get the point across that she has her reservations about Gabriel...I mean we all would...just a little.

The slow burn is great and when it finally happens, I was torn as to how I felt about it, due to the location. Still steamy AF though.

Noteworthy mention, ALEX KYDD...whereeeee did he come from?!?! He may be popping up on my top 5 list..his voice is smooth and SO hot.

If you have read KA and liked her, you would like this one as well. I am going to continue this series, since I am VERY interested as to how this plays out, due to the cliffhanger.

Definitely a good read! Would suggest not at work though. The book is spicy in a good way.

OH MERCY!!

One heck of a fast paced book , absolutely loved every second of this Audiobook!
My first read by this Author and I wasn’t disappointed only sorry I didn’t got it off my TBL until now, but anyway well worth the read/listen !

Ok let’s get into it …

Mercy the FMC of this story has had her entire world turned upside down when her father gets sent to prison for the murder of a man that attacked her. She's desperate to get him out and fight his unfair conviction. Especially since his life is in constant danger.

Gabriel the MMC is the ultimate bad boy. Gabriel is the son of an infamous gangster whose mere name makes grown men quake when his name is mentioned.
But He and his brother is tired of the family business and of living their father's shadow.
So upon visiting his father Gabriel saw this beauty who seems rather disturbed during her visit to the prison.

Gabriel is determined to have her. But he doesn't exactly make a convincing argument when he offers his protection in exchange for her dropping to her knees.

Yeah .. he quickly learned that Mercy was not like anyone he had ever known, she’s fierce despite her fear and current circumstances and he loved it !
Gabriel is also used to getting any woman he wants to fall at his knees at the snap of a finger or flashing his gorgeous dimples would often do the trick, until Mercy !


But listen if you're like me and like your MMC mean extra cocky dimpled and gorgeous, then prepare for Gabriel and his brother and cousin heck even his friends mentioned in this story .
Because Gabriel is everything despite his cocky alpha hole gorgeousness,And what makes this a good story is watching him fall for Mercy and her him.

Make no mistake though cause this girl Mercy may be a good girl but I swear she just can’t help being sassy fierce and sometimes downright bratty when interacting with Gabriel. Mercy takes no crap I tell you …she isn't the least afraid to put Gabriel in his place .. although she worries how far she could go with her attitude…but man alive if she didn’t makes Gabriel work for it. So much fun listening to him going out of his mind, pretty soon she had this man weak for her ..and him begging is the sexiest thing I’ve ever heard!
The sexual tension is turned up, the chemistry is between these two was amazingly good.

My stomach fills with dread. Jesus Christ. What has that woman done to me? She officially owns me.

But Listennnnn .. when I tell you that I gobbled up this audiobook up … I absolutely devoured it word for word because Alex Kydd and Ada Sinclair completely did their thing !
They were freaking amazing they bought each characters to life with every word every moan and breathe uttered.
It was deliciously dirty and completely addictive !

Absolutely recommend this book now I’m moving onto the next hopefully it’s just as good and dirty !

Mercy Wheeler (25; aka Merce) is an only child whose mom died of a drug overdose when Mercy was 1o years old. She is in college and working for a drug and alcohol addiction center. Mercy's father is in prison for killing his former co-worker, the man who assaulted Mercy. Mercy faithfully visits her father in prison every weekend which is where she crosses paths with Gabriel. Gabriel Easton (29) has an older brother, is a nightclub owner, runs an underground fight ring, and he has an abusive father who is in prison for witness tampering and money laundering. Caleb is Gabriel's older brother, co-owner of their nightclub and their home. The Easton family have been in the drug trade for their entire life but both brothers want to be free of it. Gabriel is immediately attracted to Mercy and offers to help her father, who is being beaten in prison, if she moves in with him for one week.... JP

We love a bad boy who can’t resist our fmc. She was a bit “pick me girl” at times but I liked her sarcasm. Great smut!
