This is my second book I’ve read from Annabel and if I’m being completely honest, I was hesitant to start this one because I was not a big fan of “Same Time Next Summer.” I figured I’d try another book by Annabel and this one I absolutely loved! It didn’t disappoint. I loved the characters and I loved Ali and Ethan together. Their spark and chemistry were undeniable. I loved the way Ethan helped Ali through her divorce and helped her learn to stand up to her stupid husband Peter. Ali’s best friend is so supportive especially when she finds out her brother is dating her best friend. This book you’ll definitely want to add to your summer romance list. You won’t be disappointed.

Love me a 35+yo FMC!
Better than Same Time, not quite as good as Nora. This book was written all us moms of teen/preteen girls. Hopefully, its imminent success will inspire more 35-45yo FMCs! Loved the references to Auntie Mame, too.

Genuinely inspirational
This is the sweetest book. I loved “Nora” as well, but I think this one is even better. It speaks to the dangers of passivity in our lives in ways that extend far beyond romance. You will want to organize your closets, and your life, after you read this book.

The love between a mother and daughter.

The perfect second chance story
