A sweet story with unexpected turns
I enjoyed the change of main character and that while she is overall more mature she still is navigating her own weaknesses. I laughed out loud, I felt for her and I also felt her pain. Lovely story all around!

So entertaining!
I found the story and the audiobook performance very entertaining. It was a quick listen because I kept wanting to know what was going to happen next. There were plenty of laugh out loud moments. Highly recommend!

Enjoyed Listening to Kerry Gilbert
While I enjoyed listening to this book I feel it is geared toward a specific reader. It is centered around a newly divorced mom, Anna, who is trying to adjust to her new reality. Anna is facing a journey of self discovery, moving forward and incorporating changes moving at a quick pace. Anna struggles with balancing her kids, a career, friends and even the continued presence of her ex-husband. She finds herself having to complete a crazy dating assignment with all dates chosen by her kids. Plus, she must work a co-worker who often annoys her at work. Nonetheless, Kerry Gilbert does a great job narrating this book. I like how she handles the insecurities Anna faces but also the craziness of the dates Anna must go on. The slow burn romance develops at a perfect pace. Anna struggles with her belief of ever finding love again. So, when it happens so easily, it is all the sweeter.
I liked the audiobook and do recommend listening to it.

Delightful
Beautifully written and narrated! The story is so retable and real! You definitely learn how to overcome life obstacles like love and kids after divorce. This book makes you laugh out loud and smile ear to ear. Thank you to the author and the narrator. 😘😘

Great Story
Sophie Cousens has such a delightful, quirky sense of humor, and I love her books. Anna is faithful to her role as full-time single mother who works full-time and has little time for herself. Her forays into the dating world makes for a very entertaining plot. As usual, Cousens writes with brilliance and depth as well as humor.

Fun and heart-warming
I picked this by just scrolling on audible and I was so pleasantly surprised by when it was so good! It’s hit or miss going in blind but I’m glad my instincts were right! The ending was how it done!

Real life romance
Loved the way she explored divorce and the feelings around it. The love story evolved so naturally. I also really loved the narration. Really enjoyable relaxing read.
