Good Continuation but needs to get on with it already

Love the story and progression but with the blatant goal floating above her head of getting her Class it’s starting to hamper the story in my eyes. Like just let her awaken. She already has the main ability it seems she just can’t increase some arbitrary stats without it and that make a bunch of 10% increases all that happens. Also she’s doing way more than any one else could so at least give it more reason

The story is very good. Overall, the pacing storyline in the world building itself keeps you engaged and interested. The weakening and journey find with the main character. It's a very entertainment to listen to..

I am soooo invested in the mc. The story and side characters are also good but it is the mc that is rapidly sending this series into my top 5.

Excellent second book, looking forward to the third

This series deserves way more attention than it’s getting. It fulfills the power fantasy with the OP MC often found in the genre. The worldbuilding and intrigue raise the stakes in a way to keep the tension high. Also highly satisfying to see OP powers used creatively.

Enjoyable

We get more Alexa! Also we learn more about the integration, and the factions. The tease at a higher level conflict involving the dungeons, and the precursors was interesting. I hope to continue this journey with Alexa, and maybe she can finally get whatever damage was done to her mind when she was a kid fixed. I get that it's part of the hook for this character to be nerodivergant, but it's also obvious that she wasnt born that way, and with her fixation on feeling her emotions through crystal consumption, I can only assume she wishes to repair whatever was done to her, at least to some extent.

Great Sequel

Overall, this was great. I was expecting this to be about the integration, but it actually covers the time before it happens. That is fine with me as we receive some more world building and, of course, our favorite emotionless ass-kicker gets even stronger. I had a few minor gripes, such as I still don't like Gina at all, and the author must have realized that he/she/it didn't include reactions to Alexa's height in the first book and went overboard in the other direction in this one, making her sound like a giantess. However, like I said, those are minor gripes and not even worth removing a star for. I you liked the first book then have no fear and grab this one up too. Cheers!

I can't believe they left us on a cliffhanger

excellent second book can't Wait for The next One The world building is really cool this cloak and Dagger thing is kind of confusing. but overall decently good story I just wish that anytime the protagonist would ask for help or at least let other people know what's going on.

Great follow up to the original.

This sequel picks up the story line and shines bright. The story improves in its pace and interest. the characters are deeper and the action draws you in for this wild ride with Alexa. I look forward to the next book and hope my wait is a short one.

solid story so far with many positives and few negatives. waiting to see what happens in the next book

Amazing Narrator lacking author

The Narrator did an amazing job turning an incomplete ruff draft into a entertaining experience.

This feels like a completely differnt story then the first book. A lot of characters are given new behaviors and motives to fit new plots the author keeps thinking up. The story keeps contradicting itself when it comes to facts and lore. its like the author is just randomly writing whatever their mood dictates without any consideration for editing or fulfilling any story plot.
