Sarah Linn is Awesome

I had the pleasure of reading this before I listened. And the narration made it better

fantastic book eith a fantastic performance

Soulhome is a fun, fast paced story with an interesting magic system and world building. I thought the different cultures and how they interact with each other was very interesting. Poor Fiya is a cinnamon roll. Travis Baldree was excellent as always. Highly Highly recommend!

Good

Pretty good. Not great. Unique system and I love his ability. It is awesome. Travis always does his thing when reading so that’s a given. I like how it’s building up as well. Still kind of confused on certain things but maybe the plot will be opened up more soon

Unexpectedly a great novel

when I initially listen to The prologue I was very skeptical about how good this story would be. the author starts with a lot of terms that I am unfamiliar with but the ideas are fleshed out throughout the book. though I feel as if I am missing a lot from the story because of where it starts in Theo's journey I am still very pleased about the book.

Great Addition To The Cultivator Genre

This first book laid the foundation for an engaging story. The characters are portrayed in a relatable and engaging manner. Never did it feel like there was an ulterior motive in the writing, no ham-fisted moralizing at the audience or unrealistic interactions between characters.

If you're looking for a solid, entertaining story, one that doesn't leave you scratching your head as to what the motivations of the characters are, in a cultivator style world of conflict, buy this book. It's worth a listen, and I'm looking forward to the next book.

Favorite narrator meets one of my favorite series

I've read all 3 released books in the series and Travis does this series justice.

this is different, new, and good

I have not seen or heard of a magic system like this before. I really enjoyed it and want to see where it goes.

An excellent and realistic progression story

A progression story where the protagonist is actually a character who faces and overcomes challenges rather than being a mary sue, a unique magic system and fun characters. What more can I ask for?

Impressive Story Enhanced by Audio Version

I have enjoyed reading many of Sarah Lin's stories, including Soulhome. But this audio version narrated by Travis Baldree is phenomenal, so you will also want to listen to it. In this novel, Sarah Lin introduces us to the main characters for this series, which leaves room for continued character development and world building. The main protagonist, Theo, is a complex individual, which readers experience as they become privy to his inner thoughts and motivations. The soul crafting of the protagonists' foundation and power structure is intriguing and a novel way for characters to grow in magic capabilities. Lin has developed a unique, one-of-a-kind method of building and ascending in power levels. Everyone will enjoy this fresh take in progression fantasy.

Great Story by an Awesome Author

Soulhome is an excellent beginning of a great story by an awesome author.

I found the story's beginning a little confusing, as is sometimes the case with a complex back story. But having read through the sixth book, I can say things do become clearer.

I really really love Ms Lin's take on different cultures and languages and how that translates into a universe with multiple worlds.

The main characters are excellently developed. the magic system is refreshing. I found myself designing my own soulhome along with the characters.

Voice actor / narrator of the book is, as always, excellent. and one of the reasons I found this author.

I will most likely read all of Ms. Lin's books, as is my habit when I find an author that I like.
