Let It Snow meets Dash and Lily's Book of Dares in this new small-town Christmas romance.
When Finley Brown returned to her hometown of Christmas, Oklahoma, from boarding school, she expected to find it just as she left it. Christmas hasn't changed much in her 16 years. But instead she returns to find that her best friend is dating her ex-boyfriend, her parents have separated, and her archnemesis got a job working at her grandmother's inn. And she certainly didn't expect to find the boy she may or may not have tricked into believing that Christmas was an idyllic holiday paradise on her grandmother's doorstep. It's up to Finley to make sure he gets the Christmas he was promised. This is Finley's Christmas. It's about home and family and friends and finding her place, and along the way she also finds the best Christmas present of all: love.

this book had a really cute idea worthy of a movie, but Finely really needed a slap in the face and make her see real shit because is too whiny for my taste
So the story is about Finely who has an identity crisis when she goes to a boarding school and realize she is not the smartest person around, so she decides to leave the school for her hometown named "Christmas" in Oklahoma during Christmas, and she is shocked that a lot changed since she was last there, her best friend is dating her ex-boyfriend (whom she broke up with btw), and her parents are separated and her grandmother is harboring a great secret, and to top it all off, Arthur her classmate comes to her town thinking it represents its name when it doesn't, and Finely get pulled into showing him and his aunt Christmas and how will that change her views about her town
I really didn't care for Finely, she is a spoiled whiny brat, the one who I really cared about was Ayesha because I really felt for her, and I'm so glad that she got the ending she deserves
the book was OK but there are way better books for Christmas than this one, and if you are a fan of Sarah Dessen, don't expect much
the narrator wasn't the right fit for this book, she did great but I feel her voice is too old to be Finely
