Fantastic Book !

Wow ! I just listened to it a third time! I'm now a fan of this Author!
The story was good and creepy , and the narration was perfect ! It could have been longer and that'd be good by me. It was that good!

An Excellent Short Story by McBride!

I must say that I was blown away when I first read (via ebook) this story. I loved it so much that when I saw it was on Audible, I didn't hesitate to get it! The story is as spooky as I remember and the narration by Gary Tiedemann is top notch. Highly recommended for those who like snowy horror!

Unexpected

This book kept me guessing as to what legendary ceature was out there,something old,new or reinvented. I never guessed. look forward to the next read.

I loved the action, fast paced. I am going to read other books by Michael Mc Bride.

Entertaining and well written. Lots of detailed info about characters that was a little hard to digest but stick with it. Non-stop action that keeps you on your toes.

What did you like best about this story?

Short and sweet. Everyday characters were put in a crazy, extraordinary situation.

What about Gary Tiedemann’s performance did you like?

You can really hear the character's emotions coming through, whether it's scared or excited.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The description of the gory scene where they first realized they're in real danger. The scene is described in such detail you can almost see it. .

This was a quick read. The tension constantly builds and builds throughout the story till the end. I just love stories like this. If you like to have your breath taken away by a story,
then I recommend you try this one

Intense But Rushed

Enjoyed this listen, though it seemed a bit rushed. This could have been an outline for a great story, had it all been more fleshed out. That being said, I really enjoyed the listen and was bummed when it was over. Will definitely check out a full-length offering from the author.

non-stop intense

the whole suspense of hiding and escaping a creature that stealthy is exciting
the narration was fantastic with the book
the spookiness of the cabin and the unknown waiting in the woods leaves you wanting more

Cold and nailbiting for the majority..

The story and narration are superb,it had me literally holding my breath in anticipation.The action,terror and relief are aplenty.Just dont expect a happy (or good) ending.
