Really great book loveing the series. Definitely check out his good guys series as well i have a feeling they will tie together at some point

Cliffhanger ending... I have a love-hate relationship with that but since the next book is available it's more of a love this time...

So many Quest

Clive it's trying to fix the biscuits Union but to do that he's got to finish all the quests from his friends. lots of different things going on but it's super fun.

Great series, I highly recommend it.
For audible: I’m not a good writer of reviews nor do I usually have the time. It was better to pay my respects to the author by doing the quick stars as it was possible before this rule of x amount of words… hence, less rating and less reviews from me. Was that the goal?

like how the MC is learning about the world, what he can do, and the process of the guild.

Again another thrilling addition to this series. Was never a dull moment. I eagerly waited to pick the book back up to continue the adventure.

Give Me More

In the previous book, all of the other members of Clive's Thieves' Guild were murdered. (They were actually all retired members.) In this book, Clive tries to save the guild by recruiting enough new members to permit it to continue qualifying as a guild under the weird gamelike rules of the world he is in. Naturally, he turns to his friends to help them—and because this world functions like a game—they all agree if he completes a quest for them. So, this is a book filled with very quirky missions while Clive still tries to find time to find evidence regarding who murdered the emperor.

This is where it really gets interesting. If you read Ugland's Good Guys series, you know that the emperor's brother murdered him. (After all, everybody thinks the emperor's brother killed him.) But as the book progresses, you will come to doubt that he is really the villain. And the information that throws things into doubt is discovered in a way that only Clive could.

This is a great novel. Clive picked up a huge number of scary necromantic spells in the previous book and this time he has to start using them. He gets in battles with wizards, and with soldiers, and there's always a monster or two, and let's not forget the guys who actually murdered all those retired thieves in Clive's guild. The storyline seriously progresses and will have you chomping at the bit for the next book.
