Still Focused

Great story and excellent concussion. Jacks death broke my heart, but they did find a way to make him still feel a part. I am ready for book 5.

Loaded with emotions

This one takes a turn for the darker side and there’s a lot more fear and sorrow this time. If you’re not ready to grieve or if you’re susceptible to depression, you don’t want to read this book. Prepare yourself if you decide to ignore this warning. The sex is more intense in this book and borders on being over-the-top, but the story itself is still good enough to overshadow that. This story is gaining more and more depth and it pulls you in deep. Even with the heartaches that come with it, you won’t want to quit.

Breene just keeps it coming!

My initial journey into this genre started with a Breene series. She has a way of making you keep wanting more. She’s a great writer. Hvam is a good narrator that knows how to bring the characters and story to life. You’ll be laughing and crying throughout. I’d like to see the main character toughen up a bit. Overall still a great series!

This story will lift your spirit

Love every single story in the series. This one had my full listening ear. I finished it in a day . Lexi and Kieran. Lexi will be tested with her power, from all sides . One of Hades Demi Gods is her father , meanwhile another Hade Demi gods thinks Lexi and Kieran are childlike /weak in their power. Little did they know both Lexi and Kieran are not to be toyed with . Lexi with call a spirt walker to train her . He’s a conniving spirit and he will show her lots of ins and outs . There is a sad spot at least for me because Kieran will loose one of his 6. It broke my heart. Lexi will need to pull everything to save her 2 wards . Magnets a Demi God of Hades , ! Lexi father think he has the upper hand on both of them but Lexi and Kieran decide to play Chess with him . A tit for tat. Yes it ends on a cliffhanger. Can’t wait for the next one

Khristine Hvam was and is fantastic. Her accent for all the characters. Her voice tone for all the accents are great.

Fabulous rollercoaster

My oh my! Sexy, funny, sad, exciting! I love Morty and Daisy’s sibling relationship. In the middle of the book I had to look at the review comments, to see if things turned out, I was so worried! I absolutely love this series. It gets better with every book! Definitely, start at the beginning of the series.

Stepping out on your own!

This book! First off the narrator is spectacular as always. She does an exceptional job of narrating each character and brings the perfect life to these novels. She’s right up there with Nicole Poole and Emma Lawrence in my opinion (my favs!). Second, prepare for an emotional roller coaster. Something I loved about this book in particular are the real reactions or people to various situations they encounter. Difficult things happen, and the way each character reacted entranced me for the realism it offered. Now, the reason for my title of this review, one thing I particularly enjoyed about this book is that Alexis is still learning but she’s sort of also owning herself and stepping out into the unknown world to give it all she’s got. She’s still hesitant but I think has realized, Kieran can’t protect her from everything, especially when EVERYTHING from all fronts is literally out to take them out or control them. Excited to see what the next book has and I’ve already preordered it!

action, passion, and great humor

KF Breene does it again! Another series with a strong, sarcastic female star role.

Lexi and company are still trying to figure out what in Hades is coming their way. Loving the development of her wards and new characters joining the story line! On to the next book in this series!
