I did not realize this about the Vagus Nerve

Straightforward, no-fuss guide to calm your body and mind at the same time. Like it says, gives tons of techniques that take very little time to actually implement, so perfect for a busy schedule. I am big into my diet (due to personal health history) and did not realize the link between the vagus nerve and gut health/inflammation. Big win for me to learn that. Practical pick through and through.

Also of note, not kidding, a ton of exercises here. You're bound to find something that works well for you.

So many new things that I learned

I learned that the vagus nerve is like the body’s main communication line, connecting the brain to the heart, lungs, and stomach. It’s a big reason why deep breathing can calm you down—it helps slow your heart rate and relax your body. The vagus nerve is also tied to your mood, playing a role in anxiety and feeling balanced. What’s cool is that you can actually train it with things like meditation, humming, or singing, which help it work better over time. It’s amazing how one nerve can do so much for both your body and mind!
