Feeling overwhelmed when it comes to building your professional network?
I'm not looking for a job you say. I learned that it's important to get to know people and to have a network before you really need to use it.
Back in 2013 I was suddenly faced with the prospect of switching careers from something that I truly enjoyed, luckily for me someone in my network (all be it on the opposite coast) offered me a job and we moved from Boston to California. At the time my professional network stood at about 100 people but I learned the importance of networking and growing your network ahead of time.
If you want to be proactive in expanding your circle please join me in learning from real life experience gained over the course of the past three years which I continue to apply to this day.
