Two best narrators EVER!!

I was hooked on A.L. Jackson with Pulled, and while I that book will always be my favorite from her, I really enjoyed this book too. I have to be honest, if it wasn’t for the narrators I would’ve been bored 1/2 through the book. I sorta think she waited too long to get to the good stuff- maybe bcz I knew it was gonna be good. And oh boy was it!! I literally had to fight with myself not to FW to hear the end, but I’m glad I didn’t. I was on the edge of my seat for the last hour of the book. I’m very proud That I didn’t cry, but dude- I wanted to...some parts made me want to put my phone down and text my friends while other parts had me gasping like OMG - no she / he didn’t! Ms. Jackson is such an eloquent writer- her words have such symmetry but I really wanted to get to the secrecy earlier. Worth a credit? Yep, sure is if you like hot bruiting men with big hearts that make stupid mistakes or if you’re a woman whose ever felt like, oh hell...what now!? Yeah it’s good. Can’t wait for the next book to come out. I need to know more although this book could be left as a stand alone if you’re okay with a few unanswered questions.

Wow I loved this book. Rex and Renea have both been burned by love in the past. They teach each other to trust again. But when the past comes back to haunt them both, neither is sure how to move forward. Andi Arndt and Zachary Webber put so much emotion into their narration, you can’t help but let the tears go. *FIVE STARS*

Single dad with an adorable little girl

A gorgeous man and his adorable daughter lived across the street from Ryn’s grandmother. He was a single dad with room for only one girl. He clings to the responsibility of being a protective father. Ryn ran away from her only living relative and home at eighteen. Eleven years ago Ryn was a naive innocent young girl who wanted to be seen by this guy Aaron. She moved to San Francisco where she built her life away from the small city problems. Ryn moved back when her grandmother passed away leaving her the home and the diner. Ryn is no longer the broken girl who ran. After eleven years the small city she once knew had changed along with the people who had run her off.

Overall:
Frankie the little girl stole the show. Her sweet disposition was absolutely adorable. Ms. Jackson portrayed her age so well.
In 2017 I gave this book 5⭐️s. When the opportunity came to invest in the audiobook I jumped on it. Here I am revisiting this book 3 years later and still loving every aspect of it. I truly fell in love all over again for Ryn and Rex.

Narrators:
Andi Arndt is a frequently used romance voice performer. She has a sultry voice. Need I say more? It’s Andi Arndt she’s the ultimate selection of romance performers. Her performance for Frankie, Rex, and Ryn was phenomenal.
Zachary Webber is a talented voice performer. His voice is sexy male perfection. He stole my heart with his Frankie voice performance it was so cute and sweet.

I wasn’t going to like it...

...as I agonizingly listened to the first several chapters of angst, I thought, I’m returning this book; I can’t take anymore. But first I stopped and read other reviews as I often do. Then I kept going and it got better. I think the suspense at the time I quit listening last night actually woke me with a nightmare early this morning. If you are at that point (closer to the beginning than the middle) and looking at reviews and wondering if you should keep going, keep going. In the end a great story.

Beautiful story!

I can not say enough about AL Jackson and her writing style. I love it and this beautiful story about chances, forgiveness and love. You will fall in love with Rex, Rynna and Frankie Leigh. Their journey will melt your heart, make you swoon, break your heart and mend it back together. A must listen! Narration is fantastic!

This book is a MUST!

I have listened to MANY of A.L. Jackson’s books on Audible and in my opinion this is the BEST one! This story is filled with romance, mystery, and a little danger. I was blown away at how many times I was on the edge of my seat as I listened! I would consider myself a “seasoned” reader of the romance genre and I didn’t find this book to be predictable as in most! The characters were complex and as I got to know each one I continued to to be drawn in along with every single plot twist! I choose not to discuss any part of this story in this review so as not to ruin it for anyone contemplating listening! If you are considering this book, GET IT! This one was so good that even if I was out of credits, I would have purchased it. IT REALLY WAS THAT GOOD! The narration was spot on and again, some of the best I have heard. Did I mention that I LOVED it? Lol. I hope this helps you to decide to give it a listen! Thanks for taking the time to read my review! WOW!!!!

This book had me crying,laughing, on the edge of my seat in suspense. "my little thief" this book is a must read.
