Bringing to life history for a time such as this
Connilyn, as usual brings history to life with Shield of The Mighty. I love every single one of her books and I’m a tough customer, being a biblical history buff myself. Connilyn is not only a great author but I believe she is anointed to bring these moments in biblical history to life in a way that I haven’t seen anyone else do.
Shield of The Mighty is unique among them all as it is perfect for such a time as we are in today. If you’re feeling broken, lost or overwhelmed with what is and has happened in our world lately, this is the book for you. Go on a journey full of family, love, war, adventure, heart ache and healing. Experience others who struggled similarly, and how they over came by leaning on YAHWEH, the G-d who never changes and trusting Him to be their shield.

BIBLICAL HISTORY MADE REAL!
I happened to be reading 1 Samuel when I listened to Shield of the Mighty by Connilyn Cossette and it was wonderful to see how the book was interwoven with Biblical history. I learned so much about this time period in biblical history, including the culture and what life was like during this period on earth. It also helped me understand what I was reading in the Bible.
