Shattered Mates

Shattered Mates is the third book in the Mystics and Mayhem Novels series. Getting to see all of these amazing characters again is incredible. I loved that River finally got his story. This book is bittersweet. I don't want to say goodbye to this group of characters. I feel like they have become family.

Such a phenomenal group of narrators came back to narrate this book. Michelle Sparks, Vanessa Moyen, Kasi Hollowell, Felicity Munroe, and Michael Gallagher all did a fantastic job.

Great cast of voices!

I was so excited to return to the world of Mystics and Mayhem. The story mainly follows River and Jules there are some chapters that include previous characters from other books. While I wished that this was a full length novel, I was so excited to find out what happened with River in his mission and the anticipation of if Jules could help him out of the darkness. This was a rollercoaster of emotions of not only seeing River and Jules but also seeing what the other characters have been up to. I especially loved the last epilogue with Lucinda. I laughed out loud and realized how much I missed her spitfire personality. Bittersweet ending.

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this multi cast!! Narrated by the fabulous Michelle Sparks, Vanessa Moyen, Kasi Hollowell, Felicity Munroe, and Michael Gallagher. Each narrator portrayed their characters that made appearances throughout the chapters. I never felt lost and I loved it!!

Shattered Mates

this book was good, I liked that each character got there own chapter about River and there own families. But I was kinda hoping to hear more about river and his mate. I kinda wanted an adventure. Don't get me wrong this was also a good story just a bit fast. lol

All The Feels!

All the feels!! This beautiful book is the conclusion of an era! The Mystics and Mayhem world has just been tied up with a pretty bow, and all our favorite characters waved farewell to us. It's bittersweet, and I definitely shed some tears. I'm so thankful and feel enriched to have made these friends and been allowed to hang out with them.

River's tale is just as exceptional and will leave your heart glowing and happy. He was also a favorite, and he needed that happily ever after. It was brutal and breathtaking, and watching Jules reach him was... everything!

So while I'm sad and devouring an ice cream sundae, I know that what awaits us next from this ah-mazing author will weave its way into my heart and yours too. I'm ready for a new adventure and a new world to be whisked away to in the true Heather Renee fashion that no one possesses.
